The Bush Administration doesn't seem to understand nor care that our precious resource (Wild Salmon) is becoming extinct. That is why I talk so much about Alaska Wild Salmon. The environment and habitat are pristine and the State of Alaska does a terrific job of managing their fishery. As a result, the Salmon continue to make themselves available to us year after year. The proof of the pudding is the number of Salmon coming up the Columbia these days - it's now in the hundreds of fish per year. It used to be in the hundreds of thousands, some years I hear were in the millions of fish. Doesn't that tell you that something is wrong with our governments meddling in salmon affairs?
